Lord, there is nothing like Your presence. When my heart is wearied, burdened, sorrowful, broken, or bruised, I can boldly come and sit confidently in your presence.
I know you hear the cries of your children. I know you care and want the very best for each of us. It is You that gives us strength when faced with adversity and it is You who sustains us.
I am comforted by your Word that tells me that I will not be forgotten or forsaken. My heart finds its rest in You, Lord.
I never have to worry when the pressures of this life get too heavy or when apprehension rushes at me like a tidal wave everywhere I turn, You are my hiding place. You stand by my side and grant me quietness of mind, calm, and peace as I run into Your conforming arms.
When fear is crippling and even in my wandering I can be rest assured that everything will be alright because we know that all things work together for good to them that love You, Lord, and to them who are called according to Your divine purpose.
I know with You, I can face whatever may come my way. You are my joy. You are my strength. My sustaining power. My Rock and my refuge. My fortress and My high tower. You are the keeper of my heart. Nothing will ever compare to Your loving embrace.
Thank You, Lord, for enfolding me in Your love and powerful presence. My life is made whole and complete in You. I am forever thankful for your mercy and for your grace.

~ THE JOY OF THE LORD ~
“For the joy of the LORD is your strength.” -Nehemiah 8:10 KJV
LORD, sometimes my days seem so commonplace and I feel tired and worn. Thoughts, often invade my mind that the days are forever unchanging. Most days, finding it hard to experience any Joy, leaving me filled with lowness of spirit.
O, LORD, help me to earnestly seek to go about my days with a positive outlook on life. Renew in me a new attitude of mind, soul and spirit. Lord, direct my path and guide me in all Your ways. May my conduct always reflect a lifestyle in the manner that is worthy of you. Help me, Lord, to remember that life is a precious gift and that you ultimately hold the key to all Joy. Lord, lift up Your countenance upon me and cover me in Your Peace, which can only come from you. Remind me, Lord, that you are the Master planner of my life and it is ‘Your Joy’ that gives me strength. O, Lord, I can joyfully rejoice; because it is You, that is rejoicing in me. Amen.
…for the JOY of the LORD, is the Joy that fills God’s heart. When we are obedient to God, the Lord rejoices in us. In return, we too will experience the Joy of the Lord, and it will be our strength. Remember, this is God’s Joy, which we are privileged to share.
With each new dawn, brings with it another opportunity to show gratitude and thankfulness for all that we have been blessed to receive.
Thank You Father, For the abundant blessings that are too many to count. We are eternally grateful for all that You give to us. Both, for our pleasure and during those times of trails. Lord, we thank You, because we know that there are blessings; even in the lessons. And that it is all intended for a purpose. We may not always understand, but we can always trust that Your ways are higher than our ways. May we remember to always give thanks for those blessings; that bring us immense joy, but to also give thanks for all Your blessings, that are Your mercies in disguise.
